Record Hand Plane

The only way to purchase a Record Hand Plane today is to find one used or purchase one from England: I found a link here.

I hope to find another type of plane to recommend to those that don’t have a No. 7 hand plane.  I will update this page when I find something comparable.  You can read all about the history of the Record Hand Plane at www.RecordHandPlanes.com.  That’s where I found out that American Tool Corp Inc. bought out the British Record Holding in 1998.  They now sold as Irwin Record Hand Planes.
