Hitachi Dust Collector

Unfortunately, the Hitachi Dust Collector that I purchased in 1994 is no longer available.  If I needed a dust collector today, I would purchase one through Grizzly.com.  They have a great selection of collectors, of all capacities and in all price ranges.

My dust collector is a 1HP 400 CFM. For a small shop running only one machine at a time, 1HP is more than adequate. You can make a small dust collector work really well with the right selection of accessories: Y’s, blastgates, quick release connectors.  Finding a great motor/impellor is not hard!  Find the correct accessories and connect them to your machines in a way that works for you.  It is the key to a clean and healthy shop.
